Alex Courtney and Alen Kramer will be signing with Garden City Community College on Wednesday at 2:45 in the auditorium. Seniors and football team members are invited to attend.
SENIORS: Graduation announcements are in! If you ordered announcements, name cards, etc., please stop by the office to pick them up.
Art Club Members: There will be an Art Club Meeting on Friday, February 10th at 2:45. We will be making valentines! This meeting is OPTIONAL, but it will be fun, so be there or be square! –Mz. Scott

It only takes about 30 minutes with a financial aid volunteer, fill out the FAFSA form and learn what types of financial aid are available. Bring your 2011 tax returns, W-2 and your PIN numbers for parents and students. If you have not done your taxes bring your 2010 tax information. There will be a drawing for a $500 scholarship at the conclusion of the event.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Jefferson County Farm Bureau Association Scholarship Available
If your parent or guardian is a member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Association, please stop by the guidance office for a scholarship application. Applications must be received in their Oskaloosa office by Tuesday, April 10th. Scholarship amount is $500.00
Seniors, The Jefferson County Educational Extension Unit (JCEEU) is now available in the guidance office. Deadline is March 1st.
SENIORS – If you plan to attend JCCC in the fall of 2012 and are a first generation college student, please stop by the guidance office for a Sunflower Grant application and information on how to apply. Award money is based on full-time enrollment.
SENIORS - Information on the JCI Scholarship is now available. See Mrs. Rainey. Scholarship deadline is May 1.
Seniors majoring in engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry, see Mr. Weeks about Buick Achievers Scholarship. Application deadline: February 29, 2012.
SENIORS apply for the Robert J. Dole Scholarship if you meet these requirements:

KSDE AEOP Scholarship Available
Applications are now available for the KSDE Association of Educational Office Professionals (AEOP) Margaret Van Horn Scholarship. Each year the association awards a scholarship in the amount of $250 to anyone enrolling a minimum of nine semester hours in an accredited educational facility within the state of Kansas. The amount of the scholarship is not limited to tuition only, but will be offered for the purchase of books, payment of fees, supplies, or other expenses required. Emphasis for selection of the recipient will be based on scholarship application, initiative, character, and/or other factors supporting his/her candidacy.
