Elementary Spelling Bee Results

Grades third through fifth held their spelling bee on Jan. 21, 2008, in the auditorium. This year’s finalists were Kelsie Jones, a fifth grader in Mrs. Watson’s class, and Emma Evans, a fifth grader in Mrs. Holwick’s class. Kelsie won the final “spell-off” round, and will advance to the Jefferson County Spelling Bee, which will be held in the JCN MS Gymnasium in Nortonville on Tues., Feb. 12 at 7:00 p.m. Congratulations Kelsie and Emma and to all of the contestants who participated.
