McLouth Forensics Takes First at Horton Invitational

The McLouth High School forensics squad took first place at the Horton Invitational on Saturday, March 8th
. As a team, the Bulldogs scored a season high 305 sweepstakes points, outpacing second place Kansas City Christian by 40. The Bulldogs also brought home ten medals and a second place plaque for the one act play. The play, featuring--Chelsey Breshears, Sarah Woodhead, and Kassidie Kramer--qualified for state festival performance in May.
Top individual finishers include:
2nd place – Kassidie Kramer, Serious Solo Acting; Kassidie, Sarah Woodhead, and Chelsey Breshears, 1 Act Play
3rd place – Tyler Ottensmier, Extemporaneous Speaking; Dagny Keyes, Original Oration; Mikayla McHenry, Informative Speaking
4th place – Amanda Friesz, Original Oration
5th place – Dagny Keyes, Prose
6th place – Kayla Harwood, Extemporaneous Speaking; Tyler Ottensmier, Informative Speaking
7th place – Leighann Morlan, Informative Speaking
