Dear Parents,

Please look for the Purple Reading Note this week. The story is Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night by Cynthia Rylant. Please be sure your child reads the class story and a library book to you or with you. The Purple Reading Note should not be signed unless the selected story line has been filled in as well at home.

The class did another excellent job on their Chapter 3 study guides last week and their test! J Thanks for your help at home. The Chapter 4 science test will not be until next week.

The Gambino’s Reading Log sheet is due on Tuesday. I will take late forms until Friday. Please remember participating in the Gambino’s Reading Program is not required. However, all the selected stories your child reads at home could easily be written down on the Gambino’s form and then your child would get a coupon for a free personal pizza.

Please remember to return your brown conference note to school if you haven’t already done so.
