Scholarship Directions

Dear Seniors-

Hopefully some of you may have already started on your scholarships. I thought I'd send you a couple of helpful hints.

Keep copies of all your HS club/sports activities. Most local scholarships will ask for the same info. An important reminder is to please read through all scholarships and choose the one's that will take the most time as well as the first deadline and get them completed.

Some scholarships will ask for a transcript of grades. This paperwork I will attach when you have completed everything else on the form and are ready to turn it in to me. Unless, it's a scholarship that has to be mailed elsewhere I will then just give it to you.

A few scholarships will require that you provide one or more Letters of Recommendations. This is YOUR responsibility. There is a Letter of Recommendation Form on this same web site you will be able to print off and use. Be sure and fill it out before handing it to the teacher/coach you are using as a recommendation. They will need this info to complete your recommendation and most importantly make sure you give them enough time so you may get it returned to you before your deadline. If there are any questions you have, please feel free to see me and I will do all I can to help. GOOD LUCK!
