Standard of Excellence Designations Received

McLouth Middle School and McLouth High were designated Standard of Excellence Schools by the Kansas State Department of Education. These designations are based on state assessment data provided from the 2008-2009 school year. McLouth Middle School received the Building Level Standard of Excellence in Reading with grades 6, 7, and 8 receiving the Standard of Excellence designation as separate classes. The 6th grade received the Standard of Excellence designation in math as well. McLouth High School received the Building Level of Excellence in Math. Kansas students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 11 take state assessments in math and reading.
