Stan & Fern Braksick Scholarship

Jefferson County Education Scholarship
The scholarship will be determined on the following basis: a) Application and activities, b) Interview, and c) Letters of recommendation. This scholarship application may be picked up in the Guidance Office when it becomes available.
Jefferson County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Any senior whose family is a member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau and attending a Kansas college or university. This scholarship may be picked up in the Guidance Office when it becomes available.
Jefferson County Insurance and Financial Services Inc. Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed at helping a worthy student meet the financial needs of attending an institute of higher education in Kansas. This scholarship may be picked up in the Guidance Office when it becomes available.
Jim Petrie Memorial Scholarship
Senior enrolling in college or vocational school. Student must write a short essay explaining future plans and financial needs.
This scholarship is for seniors attending college or vocational schools. It is based on school and community activities, family need and community service.
McLouth Recreation Commission Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to seniors who plan to study sports medicine, physical education or related recreational majors.
This scholarship is for seniors attending college or vocational schools. Student must write a short essay explaining financial need, educational plans, career goals and why they should receive the scholarship.
Paul E. Flaherty Athletic Scholarship
Seniors must have participated in some form of high school athletics and must be average or better than average scholastically. Based on three letters of recommendation- one from a former coach, family need, school transcript, 250-500 essay and a complete application form.
This scholarship is for college or vocational school and is based on family needs, high school transcript and character references. Scholarship may be renewed for four years in college.
