STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE ACHIEVED AGAIN!

For the 2^nd year in a row all 3 buildings have received Standard of Excellence designations from the Kansas State Department of Education.

These are based on State Assessment scores from the 2008-2009 school year. This demonstrates the continuous improvement that is occurring at all building levels and reflects the hard work put in by both students and staff to achieve this distinction. The following areas were awarded Standard of Excellence:

Elementary:

Reading: Building wide, 3^rd Grade, 4^th Grade

Math: 3^rd Grade

Science: Building (4^th grade assessed)

Writing: Building (5^th grade assessed)

Middle School:

Reading: Building wide, 6^th Grade, 7^th Grade, 8^th Grade

Math: 6^th Grade

High School:

Math: Building wide (11^th Grade assessed)
