October 12, 2009
For the 2nd year in a row all 3 buildings have received Standard of Excellence designations from the Kansas State Department of Education.
These are based on State Assessment scores from the 2008-2009 school year. This demonstrates the continuous improvement that is occurring at all building levels and reflects the hard work put in by both students and staff to achieve this distinction. The following areas were awarded Standard of Excellence:
Elementary:
Reading: Building wide, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade
Math: 3rd Grade
Science: Building (4th grade assessed)
Writing: Building (5th grade assessed)
Middle School:
Reading: Building wide, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade
Math: 6th Grade
High School:
Math: Building wide (11th Grade assessed)
Congratulations students and staff! Keep up the good work!
