Environmental Science Tests Water Quality
As part of their unit on aquatic ecosystems the environmental science class collected information about temperature, pH and turbidity at the pond and stream at Prairie Park. Using hand held data collection devices and various sensors students can get immediate precise digital read-outs that allow them to analyze water quality. The students then collected the same types of information from tap and distilled water for comparison.
