Calling All Bicycles!

Bicycle Rodeo
On May 24th the McLouth Police Department and McLouth Elementary School held a bicycle rodeo. Students brought their bicycles and rode through an obstacle course after learning some of the proper signals to use when riding a bike. Bicycles were also checked for safety. When students finished the course they could throw rings to win a liter of pop.
Kiwanis donated juice pouches and snacks. The Department of Education provided helmets for every participant. There were approximately 30 participants!!
A big THANK YOU to all the students that came and participated, to the parents that brought their child/bicycle, to the parents that volunteered at a last minutes notice, to the police department, and a thank you to Ms. Miller for taking pictures.
