To the Capitol!
On Friday April 17th, the 7th grade social studies students visited the State Capitol Building. They toured the House and Senate chambers, the Governor's office, the State Supreme Courtroom, and climbed over 200 steps into the dome. Later they also visited the Kansas History Museum where students completed a scavenger hunt through different time periods, handled rare artifacts, and hiked the surrounding nature trails.
