Enrollment for 2015-16 Dates Set
Enrollment for ALL students grades PreK-12 will take place on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, August 4 from 10 AM to NOON in the Purple Gym. Textbook, technology and course fees will be due at enrollment (see below) and class schedules, locker assignments and Student-Parent Handbook information will be distributed. You will meet with transportation personnel during enrollment on August 3 or 4 to request bus transportation.
Please carefully check the information for your student(s) on the Student Information form and return it at enrollment only IF CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE. It is very important the school office has CURRENT contact information available to contact you in the event of an emergency. Have each student read and sign the enclosed Technology Acceptable Use Policy and Chromebook Agreement and return. Chromebooks will be distributed to secondary students the first day of school.
IF your student has a medical condition the school needs to be aware of, please be sure that information is noted on the Student Information form. If your student will be taking prescription medication during the school day, please contact the office to obtain a “Medication Administration Request” form. A form must also be completed for students who will carry an inhaler with them during school hours. Also, remember to notify the school if there are custody restrictions that apply to your child.
Forms for athletic physical, concussion and proof of insurance/athletic participation are available from the secondary office. Completed forms MUST be on file with the activities director before the student is allowed to participate in any athletic practice.
Voluntary insurance plan information will be available at enrollment for your use if you do not carry medical insurance. The school carries catastrophic insurance; however, this does not cover common accidents or injuries that occur at school. Parents are financially responsible for these incidents. If you do not have medical insurance to cover your child, we encourage you to consider the options available through the voluntary insurance plan.
Fees due at enrollment are as follows:
Textbook Fees $40 per student
Technology Fees $25 per middle/high school student
$10 per elementary student
Kindergarten Snack Fee $40/year
Middle School Course Fees AgScience $10; Art $10; Band $10; Family and Consumer Science $15; Science Lab $5
High School Course Fees AgScience $15; Art $15; Band $15; Family and Consumer Science $25; Science Lab $10
Athletic Fees $20/sport/student (cheerleading $20 per year)
Band Instrument Rental Fee $20/year
Students who qualify for free lunch are exempt from Textbook Fees only. All other fees will be due at enrollment.
Lunch money may be deposited at enrollment or delivered or mailed to the school office. We encourage everyone to deposit money in lunch accounts prior to the first day of classes to ensure that all accounts have money available and to eliminate long lines to deposit lunch money on the first day of school. An application for free or reduced lunches is enclosed. Breakfast and lunch prices are as follows:
