McLouth renames softball field after longtime head coach
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Thursday, May 9, 2019, McLouth USD #342 revealed the new name of the Lady Bulldogs' softball field as Patterson Field, named after longtime head softball coach Ballard Patterson.
Ballard Patterson has been so instrumental to the Bulldog Softball program for so many years. It is an honor to rename our softball field after him.
Patterson has led the softball team for 14 years and amassed a career record of 277-46. Before that, he coached football for 11 years with the school.
This season, the Lady Bulldogs are 10-4. The team opens regionals against Valley Falls on Tuesday, May 14 at Patterson field @ 4:30pm.
