McLouth USD #342 would like to inform you that under the guidance of the Jefferson County Health Department, we will no longer be providing close contact information to the county.  The district will still be required to present COVID positive cases to the Jefferson County Health Department.

If we are aware that your child has been in proximity during the school day, or as a result of an extracurricular activity, with someone who has been confirmed as a positive COVID case, you will receive an automated phone call via school messenger.  In turn, we ask that you monitor your child and have them tested if they are experiencing COVID symptoms.  If they remain symptom free, they will be able to remain in school without testing.  The district will still provide antigen testing, if requested.

Individuals deemed as a close contact as a result of household contact to a COVID positive individual, must follow the guidelines of the Jefferson County Health Department.
