HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES

“Slay the Dragons”

WEEK OF OCTOBER 3 - OCTOBER 7

Dress Up Days:

Monday Safari / Hawaiian Shirt Day

Tuesday BBQ Dad / Soccer Mom Day

Wednesday Class Color Day (see below)

Thursday Grandparent (senior/junior) / Baby (sophomore/freshman) Day

Friday Purple and Gold Bulldog Spirit Day

 

Dress up days still need to conform to the school dress code.  None of the days are Hat Day.  If you are wearing a hat that is not a part of that day's theme, you will be asked to take it off.

 

Class Colors:

Seniors - Purple

Juniors - Baby Blue

Sophomores - Mint Green

Freshmen - Pink

 

Event Schedule:

Sunday:  Hall Decorating from 3-6 p.m.

 

Wednesday: Buff-n-Tuff will start at 6:30 p.m. in the gold gym.  Powderpuff Football, Scavenger Hunt and Bonfire will follow at the football stadium.  The public is invited to every event tonight (except the bonfire).

 

Friday: Talent show will start at 1:00 (earlier or later depending on entries), the parade will start at 2:15, students will be dismissed at 2:00 to get in line for the parade.  Tug of War, pep rally and candidate games will be at the football field following the parade.

Dayton Flint - son of Cory & Brandy Flint

 

To participate in activities beyond school hours, students must be academically eligible and be present in school all day of the activity.  Exceptions will be made for a planned absence or medical appointment (excused by a doctor’s note).

 

Dance will be Friday night following the football game.  Cost is $5/attendee.  If you paid entrance to the football game, your dance admission is $3.  There will be pizza and drinks provided. 

  • Out-of-school guests must be pre-approved by administration.

  • Students must be academically eligible. 

  • Students must be present in school all day of the activity.  Exceptions will be made for a planned absence or medical appointment (excused by a doctor’s note).

  • Attendees have 45 minutes from the end of the game to enter the dance.  No entrance after that.

  • If a student leaves the dance, they may not return.
